In this session, Bruce Abbott, Wine, and Spirits Category Manager at Brown Jug Alaska, discusses how brands can work with regional chains.

Bruce Abbott is a life-long Alaskan and 17-year veteran of the Wine & Spirits Industry. From crafting cocktails while managing a local brewpub to selling wine & spirits to Alaskan resorts outside Denali Park for a local distributor, and then designing and opening a boutique wine shop, Bruce has seen the business from all sides and along the way has tasted thousands of wines and spirits.

Bruce now manages the wine & spirits categories for Brown Jug, Alaska's largest alcohol retailer. There he leverages his palate and experience to introduce exciting new wines and spirits to the Alaskan market. During his time at Brown Jug, Bruce has hosted countless public tastings, built a high-quality control-brand wine program, selected over 50 barrels of whiskey for the chain, and now manages a selection of over 7,000 wines and spirits across Brown Jug's 21 retail locations.

Brown Jug Alaska is Alaska's premier retailer of fine wine, spirits & beer. We have 21 locations throughout Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, and Fairbanks.
