What are LCW's primary bulk wine markets, and have you observed any significant shifts in demand or emerging opportunities?

LCW exports bulk wine to key global markets, including the U.S., U.K., China, and Europe, with growing  Southeast Asian interest. We've observed a shift toward premiumisation, with buyers seeking higher-quality bulk wines over commodity-grade offerings.  Sustainable and organic wines are also gaining traction, particularly in Europe and North America.  China remains a complex but evolving Asian market, with demand rebounding for premium wines, especially in the direct-to-consumer and e-commerce sectors. Meanwhile, the U.S. private label sector continues to expand, offering new opportunities for tailored bulk wine solutions.

How is LCW adapting its bulk wine portfolio to meet changing consumption patterns and evolving consumer preferences?

LCW is actively evolving its bulk wine portfolio by expanding its selection of sustainable and organic-certified wines to meet the rising consumer demand for eco-conscious products.

a) Offering fresh, fruit-forward styles catering to younger consumers seeking lighter, more approachable wines.

b) Investing in alternative packaging solutions, such as lightweight bottles and premium can options for on-premise and retail clients.

c) Exploring Mediterranean varietals like Tempranillo, Grenache, and Vermentino are better suited to shifting climate conditions while aligning with evolving consumer tastes.

Conclusion

As the global wine industry faces challenges from shifting consumption patterns and economic pressures, LCW remains focused on opportunity rather than obstacles.
